Welcome to issue #013 of Insideletter!
Each week, I share 2–3 behind-the-scenes insights from growing my travel newsletter. I also highlight the strategies I'm using to grow the newsletter, so you can apply them to grow yours too.
Heyyaaaa, how’re you doing?
In edition #012, I’ve shared that my beehiiv plan has expired.
And in this edition, I’ll share some thoughts.
As I’ve shared, the current format of the newsletter is:
Nomad location of the week
→ Pros, cons, cost of living, visa rules, and tax perks.
Monetisation strategy
→ A specific way for nomads to earn more (product idea, client source, offer, etc.)
Tool spotlight
→ One tool to save time or make more money.
Creator tip
→ One actionable growth or monetisation tactic.
Resource
→ Curated read, job board, tool, or opportunity.
Community spotlight
→ Highlighting a digital nomad
So if you see this closely, you’ll be able to see that I’m talking about the things which will help the nomads as well as me.
Because, when it comes to community spotlight, I’m actually talking about those people with whom I’ve done a podcast.
And in the tool one, I can be an affiliate of any tool. And promote them.
Also, when it comes to monetisation strategy, I can promote my eBook too.
And lastly, in the nomad location of the week, I am mostly talking about the places which I’ve already covered in my digital nomad blogs.
So, it’s a “boomerang flywheel” using my content to promote my content to sell my content.
Isn’t that amazing?
I am trying to make it better, it’s a process, let’s see.
