Welcome to issue #021 of Insideletter!
Each week, I share 2–3 editions in which I outline the exact steps to build a newsletter business to £1K a month.
Hey,
It’s a great Tuesday again.
Today, let’s talk about the 5 tools you should use for your newsletter business. Please don’t use more than 5 because we keep things simple and focus on making money.
#1 Notion
I use Notion for myself, my clients and my agency Trimmerly. It’s one of the best tools a businessperson should utilise.
I use it for keeping my contents in a central place.
Notes
Planning
Finance
You can use Notion to write drafts and save inspiration, as well as it will help you keep track of your sponsorships or editions. Subscriber growth tracking, idea bank, SOPs
#2 Loom
I use Loom to document the internal processes of the newsletter.
Because if you make the changes, you won’t be able to come back and undo them, so I suggest you record everything to make it easy for you to keep track of everything before and after.
Finally, you can use Loom to create pitches to the advertisers.
#3 Passionfroot
Passionfroot is a brand partnership platform.
It helps you with the necessary system so you can accept advertisers.
You should try it because your goal is to monetise your newsletters.
But the most important thing is to first to grow your newsletter. Apart from that, everything will be useless.
Thanks for reading. I’ll be back on Thursday.
Until then, keep applying what you’ve learned.
ICYMI
I’m launching the first-ever newsletter retreat in India.
It will be in December, mostly in Delhi, the capital of India.
Dates might be: 20,21.
After this time, it’ll be Christmas, so people will be in the travel mood too.
And for the itinerary and all, I’ll share it soon.
But are you exciteddddd? 🤩
