Hey, Anirban, this side.
First of apologies, I didn’t make any posts after day 0, but now, I am back.
From today, I will apply 1 strategy with my newsletter and document it here so you can use it and grow with me.
Alright, today I applied the strategy of Jeff Felton.
Instead of just writing a vague CTA or not writing any CTA in your welcome email, he asks a very, very simple question.
Which is less frictional.
Easy to answer
And giving multiple choices too
I had a welcome email in place, but I added this component to my welcome email.
Note: I’ve added 3 options. The first two are normal.
The third one, I kept, just because I’ve a plan to offer 1:1 coaching or sell courses or any sort of digital products in my newsletter in the future for those who want to live a life of a nomad.
Also, my podcast is for every stage of people.
Those who are already living a life of a nomad or want to be.
Actually, I’ve two ice breakers, one is already asking for an emoji reply, but I only got 2 replies after running this for 1 year and beyond.
So, let’s try this trick.
Today is day 1 of growing my travel newsletter in public.
Current subscribers of alivewithad: 47 (+2)
30-day open rate: 26.66% 😓
CTR: 6.38% 🫠
Current subscribers of Dark Chocolate: 60
30-day view: 114
30-day open rate: 15.52%
Thanks for reading. See you tomorrow.
Let’s do something crazy together.
